Biography
A significant amount of Drew’s professional experience comes from the over sixteen years he spent in the “Big Four” accounting & consulting environment. He began his career as an auditor, and later branched out into various other areas of consulting. These areas included mergers & acquisitions, forensic accounting and restructuring .
Prior to founding ULLR Accountants & Advisors, Drew was the COO and CFO of a large real estate development and property management firm. There, his role and responsibilities include managing a multi-family building portfolio with over forty properties and 1,500 total apartment units. Anybody who has worked in this environment knows this role is 24/7 and the responsibilities run the gamut from dealing with failed boilers on Christmas night to presenting financial results and capital expenditure needs to investors on a regular basis. Drew spent over five years in this role until the portfolio recently sold. Prior to that, Drew held other real estate controller and operations roles.
Throughout his career, Drew’s clients have spanned in size from individuals to some of the largest international corporate entities across a variety of industries.
Ever the entrepreneur, in addition to his professional activities at ULLR, Drew has been involved in the start up and running various other small businesses, primarily in the trades arenas such as heating and air conditioning, heavy equipment rentals, party rentals, plumbing, construction, and home improvement. Not all have been successes and many lessons have been learned. But if anyone ever needs some free t-shirts from some of those failures, Drew would be happy to give a you a few.
Drew graduated with an MBA in Finance and Investments from the Zicklin School of Business at the Baruch College in New York, NY. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Hofstra University in Long Island, NY. Drew is a Certified Public Accountant whose clients have consisted of the most prestigious law firms, investment banks, manufacturers, and retailers in the world.
Drew strongly believes in client service and satisfaction. His goal has always been to be considered the “go-to” person when something needs to get done. Nothing makes him happier than providing outstanding client service and immediate responsive action on a client’s problem or opportunity.
With over twenty-five years serving clients and investors, Drew understands that our businesses and our personal lives are ever changing. He is passionate about providing the best possible service and experience possible. He listens to what his clients have to say and works with them to manage those changes. He wants to be the first person his clients call when they are considering buying or selling an investment property or business, they’re having a dispute with a business partner or to simply discuss anything that may have an impact on their business. He is just as passionate about helping others achieve success as he is about his own.

Chris has consulted and provided support on a wide variety of matters, including:
Chris assisted a large financial services firm reconcile transactions due to a breakdown between the firm and their funding bank due to a run on one of the firm’s financial products. Chris successfully led a multidisciplinary team of consultants and client staff to bring together hundreds of thousands of individual transactions under intense market and regulatory scrutiny.
Chris lead a team of consultants and client staff to successfully challenge a federal regulatory agency’s investigation into a hedge fund/broker dealer where the federal agency suspected a ”Ponzi Scheme.”
Chris led a team of consultants, and provided expert witness testimony in the resulting arbitration, where he assisted counsel and their clients with their claims against a medical device manufacturer. The investigation encompassed determining unreported sales in addition to reconstructing manufacturing output and inventory amounts on a global basis from incomplete and/or partially inaccessible records.
